A further step in our commitment to sustainability

The strict European Ecodesign regulation, already in force, seeks to improve the energy efficiency of wood-burning cookers, cookers and fireplaces, with the aim of reducing the CO2 emissions they emit into the atmosphere.

All our products have been redesigned to adapt to and comply with these regulations and the strictest international controls, far exceeding the minimum requirements in terms of performance, CO and particulate emissions.

To this end, we work on the continuous improvement of the technology and the combustion process, incorporating the double combustion system, double deflector or convection turbines in our wood-fired heaters.

These features undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of energy efficiency and sustainable development, as they lead to considerable fuel savings and a significant reduction in waste.

But also because it has an impact on household savings, both in terms of energy consumption and economic expenditure, which has a very beneficial effect on the end user.

WHAT ADVANTAGES DOES THIS HAVE FOR YOU?

  • You will consume less
  • You will save more
  • You will take care of the environment
  • Improve the air quality in your home
  • You will protect your health and the health of your loved ones.

HOW TO KNOW IF A PRODUCT COMPLIES WITH ECODESING 2022

Through their emissions data, which must be published by the manufacturers on a mandatory basis and must comply with at least the following ratios:

  • Yield ‘ 75%
  • CO ‘ 0.12% Emissions
  • NOx emissions ‘ 200 mg/m3
  • OGC emissions ‘ 120 mg/m3
  • Particulate matter ‘ 40mg/m3

A natural, renewable and “CO2 neutral” fuel

By using wood as fuel with our maximum efficiency appliances, you are contributing to a less polluted and more sustainable world..

When burning wood in our wood-burning appliances, the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere is no more than if the same wood were to follow its natural decomposition process in the forest.

The proportion of CO2 resulting from combustion is so small that the trees themselves absorb it through photosynthesis to convert the carbon back into wood. Unlike fossil fuels, this release-absorption cycle can be repeated indefinitely without producing excess CO2.

According to estimates by the US Environmental Protection Agency, an increase in the amount of fuel from biomass would significantly reduce the impact of the greenhouse effect on the planet.

Our commitment is clear: to care for the environment and people’s health.

That is why we already have a whole generation of products certified according to the ECOdesign standard.
